While many utilities are also style statements (see: handbags, shoes, glasses), debit/credit cards (and payment devices in general) still lean more functional than expressive.

Mood challenges that idea by treating the card as an accessory worthy of the same consideration – and even adoration.

Reminiscent of a 90s mood ring, the Mood card is heat sensitive and color changing. For the launch, we designed a cohesive capsule with matching heat sensitive apparel, creating a cohesive Mood drop that pushes the Cash App debit card into the sphere of fashion.

Launch Party & Pop-up

We hosted a media launch party for press and influencers to preview the capsule and touch the designs to see the heat sensitive property in action.

The pop-up was open to the public for the weekend, allowing current and potential new customers to interact with the products.
